Mod Treehouse

Tucked into a grove a redwoods, Mod Treehouse zig-zags its way up to an elevation of 10 feet, all completely supported by seven massive trunks.

During the fabrication process, each component is carefully hand-crafted in our South San Francisco shop. The placement of the trees dictates the exact shape of this bridge, which Barbara has meticulously designed to fit exactly into this particular site.

The zany window cut-outs mirror the twists and turns of the structure overall. For safety, each opening is fitted with clear plexiglass.

The bridge eventually leads to the tree fort, which is a large, roofless area. Who needs a roof when the most picturesque view is straight up?
