Every tree is unique and will need its own unique, custom design. Barbara's first order of business is to climb up in the tree and brainstorm ideas. No idea is too crazy! Back at her desk, Barbara covers the walls with tree photos, studying the limbs & trunks and mulling over the possibilities. Then she draws her ideas directly on the photos. If you are interested in a Zip Line, Barbara and her husband, Jeff, will need to set up a temporary ride to do on-site tests for the real thing. They may also "stick-frame" the design up in the tree - a process that lets Barbara fine-tune the design, get precise measurements and lets you visualize where everything will go. Once the final design is selected, we build the bulk of the treehouse in our shop. This process allows us to deliver and install treehouses all over the world! Canopy Creation!

Welcome to Portland Treehouse! Join us in the canopy for a tour of this hip hideout, spanning multiple massive trees in a secluded, wooded back yard.

This custom tree house features three distinct play areas: on the right, a two-story octagonal tree fort offers a choice of fire pole, rock climbing wall and a knotted rope climb. A 30-foot swinging cable bridge leads to a clubhouse and tree deck (the middle of the play area). And on the left, choose from swings attached under the bridge or a tower with a slide, vertical cargo net climb & ship’s ladder. Lots of ups & downs for very active play in this treehouse for kids!

Barbara set the treehouses on the edge of the lawn, floating over a steep drop-off. This left the flat lawn area free for swings, slide and a soft landing for the rock climbing wall.

The Swinging Bridge connects the two tree decks and gets the kids up in the canopy of the trees. The clubhouse just fits between the two large trees that support that deck.

It is an entire play experience to simply cross from one side of the bridge to the other. But hey, why not stop in the middle and just hang out in the trees?

The 8’ long x 6’ wide clubhouse is 100% waterproof with double-layered cedar shingled gable roof and custom-made, kid-sized, venting windows.

The inside of the treehouse explodes with color with functional glass windows, a door outfitted with our signature who-goes-there peephole and shelf with pegs for coats & hats.

Southampton Treehouse is a true arboreal experience!

This custom structure connects two magnificent trees with a 16' long swinging bridge and boast a large clubhouse, three levels of tree decks, zip line ride, rope ladder, and secret escape hatch. Beautiful, elegant and fun!
