Napa Valley Water Tower

The Napa Valley Water Tower is an adorable, child-size version of the historic redwood water towers that were once common in Sonoma and Napa Valley.

Dating back all the way to the 1850’s, these ingenious water towers, also known as tank houses, made use of wind power to pump water up into a redwood tank where it then flowed to house and farm via gravity.

Our version has a fully enclosed and weather-proof clubhouse on the second story. The paint and metal roof echo the design of the main house for a cohesive feel throughout the property.

Access to the clubhouse is through a ladder that leads to a little porch outfitted with a flagpole. For an outdoor option, fly through the air on one of two swings.

Inside, children encounter a charming space in proportions that fit them. At 7 x 7 feet, the clubhouse is large enough to accommodate imaginative play, while still cozy enough to feel like a refuge from the big, wide world.

With a magnetic wall of cork board standing ready to display kids’ art and a cozy day-dreaming nook complete with pillows and rugs, Napa Valley Water Tower supports and ignites creativity. The screened windows and door allow gentle breezes and bird songs to permeate the interior.

Even birds find it irresistible!
