We originally built this gorgeous, thespian-themed structure as a donation to the 2015 Dreams Happen Gala, where all proceeds go to support Rebuilding Together Peninsula, an organization that helps vulnerable homeowners with repairs and renovations.

Six years later, the family that claimed this beauty at the auction asked us to do a full re-stain to restore it to its original glory. Notice the deep blue of the stage, the vibrant orange trim around the ticket booth window, and the cheerful golden sign for Castle Rock Theater.

Like all our structures, The Play’s the Thing is an endlessly adaptable setting for children’s best memories. Not in the mood to perform? Take a spin on the rock climbing wall and the rope net climb or take a break on the swing.

On the upper story, an open deck offers two different points of entry to the two-story playhouse, as well as a captain’s wheel, bucket pulley, and access to the curly tube slide.

Our handcrafted building methods ensure long-lasting quality and our signature non-toxic tung oil stains can freshen up structures to ensure their lasting beauty.
