Beach Terrace

When kids come out to play, they want to do it all—climb, slide, and imagine—and Barbara’s structure gives them the full range! This fun and compact play space is an area where families can come together and connect in Thomas Safran & Associates’ latest development, described in the press as “an affordable housing lifeline in Inglewood” California.

Geared towards two- to 12-year-olds of all abilities, this ADA-compliant structure has both a gentle slide and a variety of climbing options.

The back wall boasts a rock climb, complete with professional-grade rock holds that are placed close enough together for shorter players to succeed. The rope net climb offers a different type of challenge as kids adapt to the wobbly rope on their way up.

With a child’s imagination, this play panel could be a corner store stocked with groceries — or wait, some of those items could actually be supplies for your trek into the jungle, or the ingredients you need for a magic potion!

As you can see from this colored elevation, all of these play features are packed into a small footprint, giving kids maximum fun while still fitting into the larger development. Our signature colors are also chosen to complement the surrounding aesthetic and enhance the housing community as a whole.
