Fort Flintridge Refurbished

BEFORE re-staining the play structure

BEFORE

As time goes by, kids get older—and so does their play structure. As seen here, after seven years of sun, wind, and rain, Fort Flintridge is still in excellent shape but starting to look a bit lackluster.

Luckily, the BBAB crew can easily brighten it up with a quick refurbish.

AFTER

Our crew begins with a safety check, followed by a deep cleaning and re-staining with our signature eco-friendly tung oil stains and then a final coat of clear tung-oil solution. As seen here, after this pep-up, the fort shines, looking brand spanking new again.

All of Fort Flintridge’s fun play features sparkle enticingly, inviting kids to a new adventure on the swings or monkey bars mounted to the underside of the long bridge connecting the two towers. From the top story, they can access a delightfully speedy turbo slide for a quick way down. To reach the upper level, there is a choice of ladder, rock wall, rope net climb or crazy bar climb.

The angled rock wall extends along two sides of the tower, allowing friends to climb together. For those needing an extra boost, the knotted rope is a great way to make the climb a little easier. Younger kids can crawl thru the openings at deck height and older kids can climb up & over the railings for an additional challenge. As you can see, our professional grade rock holds are still as sturdy and appealing as the the day they were installed.

After all that climbing, sliding, and adventuring, it’s time for a little downtime and this is the perfect spot to admire the view.
