Flyin' in the Bridges!
Once the massive bridges for Magical Bridge Playground arrive on-site, it takes strong teamwork and heavy machinery to get them securely into place.
The first step is to crane one component of the bridge off the flat-bed truck.
Next, the bridge piece is moved to the correct part of the future playground.
Here is where things get tricky! It is crucial to guide the first half of the bridge precisely onto the footings that have been prepared for it. In addition to the driver of the crane, we’ve also got four members of the BBAB team holding onto guidelines attached to each corner.
Now we began lowering the first half of the bridge slowly into position
After that, the second half of the bridge is moved into place.
And the second half requires even more precision!
What a feeling of satisfaction as the final piece slides into place!
